Games For Kids On Horseback
This collection of fun (and safe) games that will delight children taking riding lessons and getting together to have fun with their horses. It includes classic games that have been played in 4-H and US Pony Club groups for decades: egg and spoon, sit-a-buck, breakaway, and musical chairs to name a few. The games are ideal ways to build horsemanship and reinforce specific riding skills such as starting and stopping; mounting and dismounting; balance; and steering while having a whole lot of fun.
